Woman and Two Year Old Struck on US 136

A toddler and a Kahoka woman sustained injury when they were hit by a pickup truck on US-136 at 3:40 Wednesday afternoon.
The Missouri Highway Patrol says 25 year old Caylove Sackman entered the road two miles west of Wayland in an attempt to remove 2 year old Toby Davis from the highway when they were struck by a pickup driven by 38 year old Sara McFarland of Kahoka. Sackman sustained moderate injuries. Davis sustained minor injuries. Both were taken to Scotland County Hospital in Memphis for treatment.
