Wizard of Oz Days Festival in Hannibal Saturday

There may not be a yellow brick road, but Wizard of Oz fans can follow the streets of Hannibal to the Hannibal Inn and Conference Center Saturday.

The 5th annual Wizard of Oz Days Festival takes place at the Hannibal Inn Saturday, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the classic movie.

Along with all the features you would expect from a Wizard of Oz festival, there will be a very special guest on hand.

According to organizer Steve Bishop, 99 year old Mary Ellen St. Aubin, a Munchkin by marriage, will be at the festival Saturday.

The Spirit of Oz characters will be there, along with a marionette show, vendors, food and other activities.

The Wizard of Oz festival runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
