The river levels have again caused a change of venue of an upcoming event in downtown Hannibal.

Organizers of the Big River Steampunk Spring Faire announced Wednesday that, because of flood water surrounding the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center, the activities that had been scheduled for the rec center will be moved to the Hannibal Inn at Highway 61 and Market Street.

So, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, the workshops, events and entertainment that were to have been at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center will instead be at the Hannibal Inn.

The Saturday night premium events will still take place at the Star Theater on South Main. That includes the Ragtime Revue, the Great Gatsby Gala and Burlesque at the Star, beginning at 7 p.m.
