Weather Slows Bridge Construction at Louisiana

MODOT officials say the current run of winter weather is slowing work on the new Champ Clark Bridge.
As a result, the public update scheduled this Saturday in Louisiana is cancelled. Project Director Keith Killen says the focus in January is to set deck panels on the new bridge but that winter weather makes that challenging. The next update scheduled on the new Champ Clark Bridge at Louisiana is set for Saturday February 23^rd as weather conditions permit.
