US Marshals Just Took Down Escaped Missouri Prisoner in Arkansas

A man had escaped from a Saint Louis, Missouri prison in November of 2023 and had remained at large until just recently when US Marshals took him down after locating him in Arkansas.

According to the United States Marshals, Markel Hutton had been a prisoner at the Bureau of Prisons in Saint Louis, Missouri when he escaped the facility late last year. He was a fugitive on the run for more than 9 months, but KAIT 8 has confirmed that he was just captured on August 19, 2024 in Conway, Arkansas.

The report says that Markel Hutton had been serving time for a firearm crime in Saint Louis, Missouri since 2019 prior to his escape.
