If you plan to celebrate America's birthday in the big city of St. Louis, Missouri, you need to be aware that reportedly the FBI is warning about large 4th of July celebrations. However, I have some questions about these reports.

Without seeing the actual data, I would have almost guaranteed that St. Louis and/or Kansas City would have the highest crime indexes in Missouri. I've learned that my perception was very very wrong as the 10 Missouri places with the biggest problems with crime are more than a little surprising.

Since it's graduation time for many Missouri institutions of higher learning, it seems like an appropriate time to crown the worst university in Missouri. There are multiple internet "experts" that seem to agree about the winner loser.

While I was born and raised in Missouri, I will admit that not every place in my birth date is ideal. There are some so-called experts who claim you should specifically avoid 14 Missouri places no matter what. Let's see if you agree with their conclusions.

There's a surprising amount of science being applied to dirt or at least the cities that exhibit dirt better worse than other places in America. 3 Missouri locations were just honored shamed by being named among the dirtiest places in the United States.

In what should be the least surprising news I share today, I did not attend preschool before I entered elementary school in Missouri. Perhaps I should have as there are some great options among the top 10 rated public preschools in Missouri that all deserve the A they get.

This is not something I would brag about if I were Missouri. This just in. I'm not Missouri, but it is my home state and current home and I'm certainly not proud that we've collectively soared to near the top of the brand new most dangerous states list for 2024.
