US 36 Crash Claims the Life of a Hannibal Man

A pickup truck crash on US 36 just west of Hannibal late Thursday night claims the life of a Hannibal man.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says 54-year-old Gary Thomson died of injuries sustained when his pickup went off US 36 and overturned two miles west of Hannibal at 11:55 Thursday night. Thomson was thrown from the vehicle. He was taken by survival flight to University Hospital in Columbia where he was pronounced dead early this morning.
