Two Hurt, One Cited for DUI in Adams County Crash

Two Warsaw residents are hurt and one is ticketed as the result of a single vehicle crash at the U.S. 24 Illinois 96 junction in Adams County at 11:05 p.m. Friday.

The Illinois State Police reports 43 year old Robert Pierce was northbound on North 24th when he lost control of his SUV. The vehicle ran off the road, rolled over and came to rest upright in a ditch.

Robert Pierce and his passenger, 29 year old Ann Pierce, were taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.

Robert Pierce was ticketed for DUI, failure to wear a seat belt, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and disobeying a stop sign.
