Two men are hurt, one seriously, in separate Ralls County traffic crashes Thursday afternoon and early Friday morning.
A Hannibal man suffers serious injuries in a single vehicle crash on Ralls County Route O at Fox Run south of Hannibal at 3:22 p.m. Thursday.
The Highway Patrol reports 69 year old Harlan Lucas was northbound when his pickup ran off the road, became airborne, struck a tree and came to rest in a ditch.
Lucas was taken by Survival Flight to University Hospital in Columbia for treatment.
A Monroe City man suffers moderate injuries in a single vehicle crash on Ralls County Route W east of Monroe City at 12:50 a.m. Friday.
The Highway Patrol reports 21 year old Austyn Nevels was eastbound when he swerved to avoid a deer. His SUV ran off the road and overturned.
Nevels was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.
