Truck Hits Building South of Quincy

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say a truck driver is dead following a medical emergency that resulted in a semi hitting a building along Gardner Expressway Friday evening.
Deputies were called to SEM Minerals at 3806 Gardner Expressway. A truck driver suffered a medical emergency in the loading ramp area and his truck rolled into a building on the property. The driver was taken to Blessing Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The driver’s name is withheld pending notification of family members.
