A Camp Point man is seriously injured and is ticketed following a two vehicle crash on East 2100th Street south of N1200th Avenue at 10 p.m. Saturday.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports 29 year old Lucas Likes of Camp Point was southbound on his ATV when he collided with a northbound pickup, driven by a 16 year old male from Liberty.

Likes was ejected from the ATV and was taken to Blessing Hospital with serious injuries.

He was also ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper use of an ATV on a public roadway, with additional charges pending.

 

Two are hurt in a single vehicle crash on Interstate 72 just west of Barry in Pike County, Illinois at 10:22 a.m. Saturday.

The Illinois State Police reports 65 year old Vernita Foggs of Chicago was westbound when her SUV ran off the road and through a rock filled ditch.

Foggs refused medical treatment. Her passenger, 62 year old Maurice Morris of Bloomington, was taken to an area hospital in non-life threatening injuries.

Foggs was ticketed for improper lane usage.

 

Three are hurt, two seriously, in a two vehicle crash on Highway 154 west of Perry in Monroe County just after 11 a.m. Saturday.

The Highway Patrol reports 39 year old Ryan Connor of Bowling Green was eastbound, attempted to pass and struck a westbound pickup, driven by 61 year old Mark Boyer of Washington, Missouri, head on.

Mark Boyer was taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital with moderate injuries. His passenger, 60 year old Deborah Boyer, also of Washington, was taken to Hannibal Regional with serious injuries. Conner was taken by Air Evac to University Hospital in Columbia, also with serious injuries.

 

A New London man suffers serious injuries in a single vehicle crash on Marion County Route M at Emerson at 8:15 a.m. Sunday.

The Highway Patrol reports 36 year old Jeffrey Temple was eastbound when he swerved to avoid a deer and ran off the road.

Temple was taken by Air Evac to University Hospital in Columbia with serious injuries.
