Mendon Man Killed in Truck Crash on Kellerville Blacktop
A Mendon man is dead from injuries suffered in a two vehicle crash on the Kellerville Blacktop east of Highway 104 in Adams County at 10:30 a.m. Thursday.
The Adams County Sheriff’s Office reports the crash involved a large dump truck and a utility truck.
The driver of the utility truck, identified by Adams County Coroner Scott Graham as 55 year old Curtis Lee Lieurance of Mendon, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the dump truck, who was not identified in the accident report, was taken by Air Evac to a hospital in Springfield for treatment.
The Kellerville Blacktop was closed for about six hours following the crash.
The crash is still under investigation.
