Trial Setting Today for Clopton Teen Accused of Threats
(MONTGOMERY CITY)-- A trial setting is scheduled today for a former Clopton High School student accused of saying he wanted to kill everyone in the building. 17-year-old James Paul Coleman of Clarksville faces a felony charge of making a terrorist threat. He was arrested after allegedly fighting with a 16-year-old student last January 11th.
In a probable cause statement, administrators told authorities that after the fight was broken up, the suspect allegedly made several comments about killing everyone in the school. A motion hearing also has been set for July 26th. The case has been moved to Montgomery County on a change of venue.
