Hannibal is one of three stops for Missouri Governor Mike Parson to survey flood impacts along the Mississippi River.
As was the case in other major floods, the flood fight is a team effort. Governor Parson says; "I'm trying to get a better handle on what more we can do for the local communities. Coming from a small community like where I came from, I get the understanding of what it takes in small communities."

Members of the Missouri National Guard assisted earlier in Hannibal, Canton and Clarksville. Governor Parson is also visiting Canton and Clarksville today to check on flood fighting efforts.
