Three Teens Drown in Missouri

Two separate accidents on the water claims the lives of three Missouri teens on Saturday:

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 13 year-old Chloe Butcher of Springfield, Missouri drowned in the North River in Ozark County.  Troopers say she became lodged underneath the water after attempting to help another swimmer.

Two St. Louis teens are dead after they drowned in the Meramac River in St. Louis County. Troopers report 18 year-old Henry Manu and 17 year-old Samuel Neal were swimming at Castlewood State Park.  After the two teens got into deep water, they attempted to swim to safety.  Both went under and never resurfaced.
