Three Louisiana residents are injured, one seriously, in a single vehicle crash in the Ted Shanks Conservation Area south of Pike County Route TT at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The Highway Patrol reports 23 year old Jade Lindsay was southbound on an unnamed road in the conservation area when her pickup ran off the road.

Lindsay was taken by Air Evac to Mercy Hospital St. Louis with serious injuries. One of her passengers, 19 year old Heather Renfrow, was taken to Pike County Memorial Hospital in Louisiana with moderate injuries. A second passenger, a 17 year old juvenile female, was flown to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, also with moderate injuries.

 

A Kahoka man escapes with minor injuries in a Jeep/semi crash on Highway 136 and 81 in Kahoka at 11:20 a.m. Wednesday.

The Highway Patrol reports 89 year old Philip Hall was northbound, failed to yield and was struck by a westbound semi, driven by 33 year old Derek Schultz of Eddyville, Iowa.

Hall was taken to Scotland County Hospital in Memphis for treatment.
