Suspicious Person Investigation in Clayton

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a suspicious person incident in Clayton.
Deputies were called around 6:30 Wednesday evening by a caller who said his minor child was approached by a male in a silver sedan who told the child to get in. The minor said no… ran away and made it home safely.  Deputies were told the vehicle left the area headed west. Adams County Sheriff’s deputies remind you to make sure your children know the dangers of getting into a car with a stranger.
