Six Injured in Crash on US 61 at New London

A two car crash on US 61 at New London at 4:20 Thursday afternoon injures six.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a car driven by 65 year old Elizabeth Sitton of
New London failed to yield and pulled into the path of a car driven by 23 year old Sarah
Moran of Troy. Sitton’s car came to rest partially in the driving lane. The Moran car went
off the road and hit a stop sign and a culvert. Sitton sustained minor injuries.
A passenger—65 year old Lon Sitton sustained moderate injuries. Moran and three passengers from Troy including two small children sustained minor injuries. All were taken to Hannibal Regional Hospital for treatment.
