Search Underway on the Mississippi

Missouri Highway Patrol Water Patrol division members and others are searching the Mississippi River for a missing man near Gregory Landing.

Sergeant Brent Bernhardt of the Highway Patrol says they were called to the scene at 12:37 Thursday morning after the crew of a tugboat realized a crew member was missing during a headcount shortly after midnight.

The U.S. Coast Guard and Illinois State Police are assisting in the search.
