Rural Bowling Green Man Arrested for Meth Possession

The execution of a search warrant at a rural Bowling Green residence Saturday results in one arrest on meth related charges.

The Pike County Sheriff’s Office reports the search of the apartment resulted in the arrest of 41 year old Dereck Turnage on charges of trafficking, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of a substance containing cocaine.

Turnage was also charged as a prior offender.

He is in the Pike County Jail on $100,000 cash only bond.
