The execution of a search warrant Monday night leads to the arrest of three Quincy residents on meth related charges.

The Illinois State Police reports that West Central Illinois Task Force agents, Quincy Police officers and Adams County Sheriff’s deputies served the warrant at a residence at 821 North 22nd at 10:30 p.m. Monday.

The search revealed methamphetamine, cannabis, cannabis wax, scales, drug packaging and drug paraphernalia.

Taken into custody were 44 year old Christie Smith, 49 year old Kelly Neese and 36 year old Janifer Doellman.

All three were found to be in possession of meth. Doellman was also wanted on an Adams County warrant for failure to appear on an endangering the health and welfare of a child charge.

During the booking process, Smith was observed ingesting a bag of meth that she had concealed on her person. She was charged with obstruction, the additional meth was seized and she was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.

A juvenile living in the home was removed and placed with a family member.
