A traffic stop leads to the arrest of a Louisiana man on drug related charges.

Pike County Sheriff Stephen Korte reports deputies were responding to a report of a disturbance in the Clarksville area on March 3rd when they learned that a person involved in the disturbance was northbound on Highway 79.

Deputies stopped 27 year old Jacob Roberts and found what was believed to be methamphetamine.

Roberts was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance, with bond set at $25,000 cash only.

Roberts was turned over to the Missouri Department of Corrections for a parole restriction.
