REOPENED: Highway 79 near Hannibal, Portion of Lewis Co. Rt. B

(Northeast Missouri)-- MoDOT says a portion of two area roadways that were closed last week reopened Thursday.

MO 79 just south of Hannibal and Lewis County Route B at the Wyaconda River reopened Thursday afternoon after being closed last week due to high water.

But sections of these roadways remain closed as of Thursday afternoon.  The MoDot Traveler Map shows a portion of Route B in Lewis County is still closed and Highway 79 in Pike County remains closed until flood waters recede further.
