Highway 79 Closed at Louisiana Due to High Water

Due to high water levels on the Mississippi River, the Missouri Department of Transportation has closed Missouri Highway 79 in Louisiana from North Carolina Street to Delaware Street.

MODOT says 79 is expected to be closed for the foreseeable future until conditions change.

And, drivers are reminded not to drive through flooded roads.
