Quincy Man Dies in Ralls County Motorcycle Crash

A Quincy man is dead from injuries suffered in a motorcycle crash on Highway 79 south of Hannibal in Ralls County at 1:45 p.m. Monday.

The Highway Patrol reports 48 year old John Thompson was southbound when his motorcycle ran off the road and overturned, coming to rest in a wooded area. Thompson was thrown from the bike.

Thompson was pronounced dead at the scene by Ralls County Coroner Robert Van Winkle.
