Aside from a chance of rain at midweek, it looks to be a seasonal weather week in northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

National Weather Service forecasters call for sunny skies to start the week, with a chance of rain moving into the area Tuesday night through Wednesday night, with the best chance of showers and thunderstorms on Veterans' Day. Sunshine returns to the area Thursday through Sunday.

High temperatures start out from the upper 50s to the mid 60s Monday through Thursday, then dropping to 50 Friday, then back up to 57 Saturday and 61 Sunday.

Lows will be in the 30s for the week, with the exception of Tuesday and Wednesday, with lows from the low 40s to around 50 as the storm system moves through.
