Will Missouri Have a White Christmas? Farmer’s Almanac Says…
It's one of the most sentimental questions you can ask. Will Missouri have a white Christmas? The Farmer's Almanac thinks it knows and has just issued their forecast for this upcoming December 25 for the middle of America.
It's important to note that this is the "old" Farmer's Almanac and not the "new" one. Don't feel bad if you can't tell them apart. I'm still trying to figure out what is different about the old almanac versus the newer one, but I digress.
The White Christmas Weather Forecast for 2024 was just shared by Farmer's Almanac. If you look at Missouri, you'll be happy if you're a Bing Crosby fan.
Congrats if you were planning on spending your Missouri Christmas with your snow shovel as that's a definite "yes" for white stuff in the Show Me State.
Not to be a party pooper, but the NOAA Climate Prediction Center doesn't exactly seem to agree with Farmer's Almanac as their long-range forecast seems to infer a borderline chance for white precipitation between now and the end of the year.
If you'd really like to know if Missouri will have a white Christmas, I'd recommend flipping a coin because it appears to me that it'll be a 50/50 chance like it normally is.
