Rain Monday, Warmer Tuesday, More Seasonal for the Weekend
We come out of Thanksgiving weekend with a rainy start to the week and a sunny and cool start to December in northeast Missouri and western Illinois.
National Weather Service forecasters say there is a good chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorms throughout the day Monday, with a lesser chance of scattered showers Monday night.
The "pick day" of the week looks to be Tuesday, with sunshine and a high of 60 predicted.
The rest of the week will be more seasonal, with highs in the low to mid 40s forecast Wednesday through Sunday.
After a low in the low 40s Monday and mid 30s Tuesday, low temperatures for the rest of week are expected to settle in the mid 20s to around 30.
