Quincy Woman Arrested for the Second Time for Forgery

A Quincy woman is arrested for second time in less than two weeks for trying to spend counterfeit money.

Quincy Police were called to Culver’s Tuesday morning in reference to the attempted use of counterfeit currency.

Taken into custody was 48 year old Gunta Prancane, who was in possession of a number of counterfeit bills at the time of her arrest.

On June 20th, Prancane had been arrested for a similar incident at Wendy’s in Quincy.

Prancane was charged with forgery and lodged in the Adams County Jail.
