Investigation into reports of counterfeit money being passed in Hannibal leads to two arrests.
Hannibal Police received reports Wednesday of counterfeit 100 dollar bills being passed at local businesses. Release of an image on social media resulted in an employee of Walmart recognizing a male in the store. Police were called and 22 year old Brashawn Noble of Chicago and 25 year old Saeed Muhammed of Markham Illinois were found in possession of counterfeit money and arrested. A search of their vehicle yielded 73-hundred dollars in counterfeit money. Noble and Muhammed were taken to the Marion County Jail on a 24 hour hold.
