Quincy Man Arrested After Attempting to Flee from Court

A Quincy man was arrested when he tried to run from officers following a court hearing.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies report that 22 year old Patrick Lambert was in Circuit Court Wednesday for a status hearing on an aggravated battery charge he had previously pled guilty to.

During his court appearance his bond was revoked and he was remanded to the Adams County Jail.

As he was being taken into custody, Lambert fled the courtroom and ran from the courthouse.

Lambert was taken into custody a short time later at 4th and Elm and is now also charged with resisting arrest and escape.
