A Quincy man pleads guilty Friday to his part in a home invasion last November.

21-year-old Roy Parker pleaded guilty to one count of residential burglary and was sentenced to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. A second charge of home invasion was dropped as part of a plea agreement.

Parker was one of three men who admitted to breaking into a home in the 300 block of Cedar in Quincy last November 10th.

Four people, including a young child, were in the home at the time of the incident. Police say the men took money, an iPad and marijuana from the home.

A fourth person was sent to prison after admitting to driving the men to and from the crime scene.
