An investigation into a rural Adams County burglary in October results in four arrests on burglary and firearms charges.

The Adams County Sheriff’s Office received a report of the burglary of a rural Payson residence in October.

Deputies determined that about 40 firearms and thousands of rounds of ammunition were taken along with several tools.

Deputies executed a search warrant in Quincy, where a number of firearms and other items stolen from the residence were discovered.

Taken into custody were 35 year old Robin Wilson of Payson, 28 year old Joshua Lovelace, 36 year old Justin Summers and 37 year old Lucas Daggett, all of Quincy.

All four are charged with residential burglary and possession of stolen firearms. Lovelace, Summers and Daggett were also charged with possession of a firearm by a felon.

The four are lodged in the Adams County Jail.
