Subject of Manhunt Identified, Faces Multiple Charges
The man who was the subject of a manhunt in Ralls and Marion counties earlier this week has been identified.
27 year old Jeffrey Stulgate of Junction City, Kansas faces a variety of charges as the result of the manhunt.
Multiple law enforcement agencies took part in the chase as Stulgate allegedly hijacked a car in Ralls County Tuesday, made his way to Palmyra, and was taken into custody on the Doyle Manufacturing property north of Palmyra just before 8 a.m. Wednesday.
Stulgate had initially been wanted on a warrant from Cook County, Illinois for home invasion.
As a result of the chase, Stulgate now faces charges of resisting by fleeing, first degree robbery, first degree assault and armed criminal action.
He is currently in the Marion County Jail.
