(QUINCY)—A Quincy man faces meth related charges following a traffic stop around 10:30 p-m in the North Bottoms.

West Central Illinois Task Force agents say officers conducting surveillance saw 21-year-old Travis Oenning purchase items at a local store commonly used to make methamphetamine. Oenning was followed to a rural area where the traffic stop was conducted.

In addition to the purchased items, Task Force agents say Oenning was found in possession of remaining components of a shake n bake meth lab.  He was arrested on a variety of meth related charges and taken to the Adams County Jail.
