Two Meth Arrests in Quincy

A drug investigation in Quincy results in two arrests Wednesday.

West Central Illinois Task Force agents say use of a search warrant at 1009 Jersey led to the arrests of 56 year old John Bevis and 39 year old Leonna Cheney for unlawful possession of methamphetamine. Bevis is also charged with unlawful possession of marijuana with intent to deliver. Bevis and Cheney were taken to the Adams County jail. Adams County Sheriff’s deputies and Quincy Police assisted in the investigation.
