An investigation by West Central Illinois Task Force agents and Quincy Police results in a methamphetamine related arrest.

Task force agents say the investigation led to the arrest of 39 year old Ryan Douglas for unlawful delivery of methamphetamine. Douglas was taken into custody during a Wednesday morning traffic stop at 24th and Locust. Use of a search warrant at his residence in the 1700 block of North 16th yielded digital scales, packaging materials and drug paraphernalia. Douglas was taken to the Adams County Jail. He is also held on a parole warrant issued by the Illinois Department of Corrections. He was on parole for drug convictions in Adams County in 2010 and 2011. The Quincy Police Department Street Crimes unit assisted in the investigation.
