No Charges Filed Against Kenneth Suggs in Alleged Carjacking

No charges will be filed for now against a Florida man in connection with a carjacking in Ralls County over the weekend.

According to Marion County Prosecuting Attorney David Clayton, no charges are being filed at this time against 40 year old Kenneth Suggs. He is alleged to have forced a woman to drive him from Hannibal to New London last Saturday.

Suggs was taken into custody Monday after a citizen reported seeing him walking along Doe Run Road.

Clayton says that the alleged victim of the carjacking is not cooperating with the investigation. He says, however, that charges may be filed in the future.
