Money is on its way to help Northeast Missouri residents fix up their houses.

The North East Community Action Corporation has been awarded a Safe and Sound grant of more than 66 thousand dollars. It is the second round of funding NECAC has received in the last year.

The money comes from NeighborWorks America and the Wells Fargo Foundation.

NECAC will make repairs at five homes and participants will help with the work. Income-qualifying people in Marion, Monroe, Pike and Ralls counties are eligible.

If you’d like to apply or find out more, call NECAC at 573-324-6622.
