NE Missouri Letter Carrier Arrested on Drug Charges
A report of a potentially impaired mail carrier in Lewis County results in a drug arrest.
Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies say an investigation led to the arrest of 41-year-old Julie Campbell of rural Edina on charges of illegal possession of hydrocodone. Deputies used a search warrant on her vehicle April 2. Authorities report finding several other prescription medications and opened mail from several people in Lewis and Knox Counties.
Campbell is held in the Lewis County Jail on $10,000 cash only bond. The Missouri Highway Patrol and United States Postal Inspector’s office assisted in the case.
