A number of area and state agencies will gather under one roof to assist flood victims in Hancock County Thursday.

The Illinois Emergency Management Agency reports that several state agencies along with various non-profit and private sector organizations will gather at a Multi-Agency Resource Center in Dallas City.

The purpose of the center is to make it easier for people affected by the flood of 2019 to access disaster related relief services and information.

The center will be open Thursday from 10 a.m. till 6 p.m. the Dallas City Elementary School.

The agencies on hand Thursday range from the Hancock and Henderson County Emergency Management Agencies and IEMA to the Salvation Army and the Red Cross.

Anyone affected by the flood is invited. No appointment is necessary. If you don’t have a way to get to the center, call 309-221-0240.
