Area health departments reported 46 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 Monday.

The Pike County, Illinois Health Department reported 19 new coronavirus cases in the last week. Their case total stands at 1,744, with 20 active, one hospitalized and 47 deaths.

The Hancock County Health Department reported 15 new COVID cases, also in the last week. The Hancock County total is 1,732, with eleven isolated, two hospitalized and 34 deaths.

In Marion County, health department officials reported ten new coronavirus cases since Friday, bringing their case total to 3,730, with 19 active, two hospitalized and 65 deaths.

And, in Brown County, officials reported two new COVID cases since Saturday. Their total is now 689, with six active and seven deaths.
