Prosecutors in the re-trial of Curtis Lovelace on first degree murder charges want additional evidence admitted.

Motions filed in the case alleging Lovelace killed his first wife Cory allegedly show Lovelace poisoned his second wife—Erica Gomez. Prosecutors want that to be admissible in the retrial. That evidence was not allowed in his first trial which resulted in a hung jury. The retrial is scheduled to begin January 23rd in Springfield.
