A mother and daughter face charges in Pike County in connection with an incident in Frankford Sunday.

The Pike County Sheriff’s office reports deputies were called to a home in Frankford during the exchange of an eight year old child between estranged parents.

Deputies allege the mother, identified as 37 year old Christina Lotter, became verbally abusive and struck the father’s vehicle with her fists.

When the deputy attempted to intervene, Lotter’s daughter, 17 year old Paige Whitley, allegedly punched the deputy in the chest and then bit him on the arm.

The mother and daughter were arrested, Lotter for assault, and Whitley for assault of a law enforcement officer.

Lotter was released pending the formal filing of charges. Whitley was jailed on $10,000 cash only bond.
