After a rainy Saturday and a nice Sunday, the weather pattern of an almost daily chance of showers and/or thunderstorms continues for northeast Missouri and western Illinois.

Forecasters call for a slight chance of rain beginning at mid-afternoon Monday. The best chance of rain and possible storms this week is Monday night, Tuesday and Tuesday night.

The chance of showers and thunderstorms returns to the forecast Thursday and Thursday night, and Saturday night and Sunday.

After high temperatures of 77 Monday and only 66 Tuesday, highs are expected to rebound into the upper 70s and low 80s Thursday through Sunday. Lows should stay in the low 60s through the week.

The Hannibal Filter Plant recorded .54 of an inch Saturday, running the total for June to 3.22 inches. The average precip for June is 3.46
