Winter Weather Roller Coaster Continues in February
The weather roller coaster that has been the winter of 2018-19 continued in February.
In numbers from the Hannibal Filter Plant, we saw a low temperature of minus-two on the first, highs in the mid 50s on the 2nd and 3rd, with a high for the month of 57 on the 4th, and lows in the single digits on the 7th, 8th and 9th.
We reached the 50s once more in February, with a high of 56 on Valentine’s Day.
It was a dryer than average February, with 2.21 inches of moisture measured at the Filter Plant, about an inch less than average. The wettest days of the month came on the 11th and the 23rd, when we got .42 of an inch and a half inch of precip, respectively.
