Monroe City Man Charged in Interstate 172 Shooting Incident
A Monroe City man has been charged in connection with an incident on Interstate 172 earlier this month.
37 year old Corey Miller originally told state troopers on February 12th that he had been shot by someone on an ATV as he traveled south on I-172 near mile marker 8.
An investigation revealed that Miller had in fact not been shot. There were two bullet holes in the windshield of Miller’s vehicle, but it was determined the shots had been fired from inside the vehicle.
Miller has been charged with disorderly conduct. He appeared in Adams County Circuit Court Thursday, where bond was set at $2,500.
Miller posted bond and was released. His court date is scheduled for March 18th.
