interstate 172

It's one of those aspects of life that you see practically every day, but don't take the time to ask the question "why?". It's the rhyme and reason behind why our highways have the numbers they do including Highway 61, 172, 70, etc.

Two are hurt, one of them an Adams County Sheriff’s deputy, in a three vehicle crash on southbound Interstate 172 at milepost 16 at 9:12 a.m. Thursday.

A Monroe City man has been charged in connection with an incident on Interstate 172 earlier this month.

Once more the ramp that takes traffic from eastbound Interstate 72 to northbound I-172 will be closed Thursday.
