Monday Night Meth Arrest in Quincy

A Quincy man is in custody following a search of his residence.
West Central Illinois Task Force agents and Adams County Sheriff’s deputies searched a residence around 10:30 Monday night in the 900 block of South Eighth in Quincy. Investigators found items consistent with the use of methamphetamine. Authorities say 46 year old Richard Whitaker was arrested for unlawful possession of methamphetamine and taken to the Adams County Jail.
