BEWARE – Don’t Wear Colors that Missouri Mosquitos Love the Most

I will admit that I'm not much of a fashionista so colors in my wardrobe aren't very important to me. Perhaps I should give that more thought though as there is real science behind the colors Missouri mosquitos love the most.

It's no secret that Missouri has more mosquitos than any other state in America. Even if that's not 100% accurate, it feels accurate. Those little critters also happen to be the most deadly creature on Earth responsible for more than 750,000 deaths worldwide every single year.

The University of Washington did a lot of research into colors that attract mosquitos and their findings are fascinating. They say if you want to avoid attracting mosquitos to your body, don't wear these 4 colors:

• Red
• Orange
• Cyan
• Black

Red is my favorite color so I guess I should just prepare my last will and testament now.

• White
